Frequently asked questions about using the Client Portal

How do I access the Client Portal? 
To open the portal, please visit faganfagan.sharefile.com. This will take you to a new website where you can log in with your email address and password. 

Is my data safe on the Client Portal?
Absolutely! In fact, the Client Portal is likely more secure than both your home computer or your email. We have entrusted Citrix, the makers of ShareFile with this awesome responsibility to safeguard your information. I never set up a password, how do I log in?
If you have never accessed the portal before, you will need to follow steps to reset your password to gain access the first time.
Go to faganfagan.sharefile.com and click the link that says "Forgot Password". You will then enter your email address and a password reset email will be sent to you.
Once you reset your password, you should be able to log in to the Portal and access your documents. 

Which email address do you have on file for me? 
If you are not sure which email address we have on file for you, please call the office at (800) 579-1851 and we would be happy to look this information up for you. 

I changed my email address and now I can't log in!
No problem. Give us a call at (800) 579-1851 or send an email to tax@faganfagan.com and we would be happy to update the system with your new email address. 

I uploaded documents but I don't see them on the Portal. Where are they? 
When you upload documents to the portal they are not sent to your folder. Instead, they go into a collection box so that our staff can quickly and efficiently locate your items, associate the files with your open projects here on our local system, and get them into processing. There currently is not a good way for us to be able to share this information back with you but we always confirm receipt of all items received. So, if you have not received a confirmation email within 24-hours of upload, you should probably get in touch.
